With a gift of $50,000 or more, you can provide vital support to an individual Hope Scholar for the duration of their postsecondary education. Funds cover tuition, room and board, fees, and meal plans for Hope Scholar attending one of our Postsecondary Partner Institutions.

With a gift of $25,000, you fuel things like Hope Chicago’s Scholar Emergency Fund. These funds are available for Hope Scholars and Hope Parent Scholars’ unexpected fees, class materials, or extraordinary emergencies, ensuring they can navigate challenges and persist on their chosen pathway.

Why Hope Chicago?
The barriers to higher education for low-income families in Chicago are immense. While nearly 90% of students from top-income families enroll in college, only half of their low-income peers do the same. Even for those who enroll, completion rates are low—less than 40% of first-generation college students graduate within ten years.
Hope Chicago is changing that narrative. We provide full, debt-free scholarships and comprehensive support services to students and their parents in five partner high schools on Chicago’s South and West Sides. The result? A 30% increase in college enrollment and a generational shift toward economic stability.
