Hopecoming is Hope Chicago's signature annual event, bringing together civic and business leaders, supporters, and friends to support thousands of Hope Scholars and their Parents pursuing postsecondary education, training and great jobs across Illinois. Join us for a special evening where you’re sure to be inspired, uplifted, and empowered to continue creating opportunity for others. The program will feature dinner and all proceeds raised directly support Chicago students, families, and communities.

Why Hope Chicago?
The barriers to higher education for low-income families in Chicago are immense. While nearly 90% of students from top-income families enroll in college, only half of their low-income peers do the same. Even for those who enroll, completion rates are low—less than 40% of first-generation college students graduate within ten years.
Hope Chicago is changing that narrative. We provide full, debt-free scholarships and comprehensive support services to students and their parents in five partner high schools on Chicago’s South and West Sides. The result? A 30% increase in college enrollment and a generational shift toward economic stability.
