Hopecoming is Hope Chicago's signature annual event, bringing together civic and business leaders, supporters, and friends to invest in thousands of Hope Scholars and Parent Scholars pursuing postsecondary education, training, and great jobs across Illinois.
As we mark five years, we gather to celebrate a milestone we have never reached before: the first wave of Hope Scholars crossing the finish line. The Scholars who joined us at the very beginning are graduating this spring, from college, debt-free, with their families beside them.
This year, we will gather at Home Court at the Obama Presidential Center, honored to be among the first to bring our community into this landmark space. The Center rises on Chicago's South Side, in a neighborhood many of our Scholars and Parent Scholars call home, proof of what becomes possible when a young person from the South or West side of this city is given the opportunity to go far.
